Ian Holloway has urged his Blackpool squad to string together a run of victories in order to mount a sustained promotion push.
The Seasiders are poised three points and three places outside the npower Championship play-off places as they seek a return to the top flight at the first attempt.
However, their season has been hampered by inconsistent form, as evidenced by the defeat at Birmingham on New Year's Eve and the weekend draw at Ipswich that came either side of an impressive 3-0 home win over Middlesbrough.
"Let's see if we can get in a good winning habit, which we're a long way off at the minute," said Holloway.
"If you can get a consistent run together in the second half of the season - probably Man United are the best at ever doing that in my lifetime - you end up towards the top don't you?
"We need to get four or five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10 on the row if we can, to have any chance of getting anywhere near where we want to get. We're miles off that."

If Blackpool can chalk up a string of wins and draws there is some hope, but, alot depends on how other teams fare. Last Saturday was a good example. Some teams close to 'Pool could only manage a draw, too. Hence we only dropped to 9th. It could have been worse. Think about Swansea at the end of the 2009/2010 season.
As well as factors like players being red-carded and injuries prior to critical games, another significant factor is 'lady luck.'
For example, the goalie kicks the ball out under pressure and it drops to an opponent; a deflection leading to a goal; a harsh decision by the ref near the goal; the ball ricochets during a midfield tackle, falling favourably to a speedy opposing winger. The list of luck factors is endless. Particularly, in a 'high tempo,' attacking Blackpool match.
During Blackpool's 'dull hour' against Ipswich the ball never seemed to 'run' for them.
There again it could well have that Ipswich were making their own luck,' as they say?
Up the 'Pool!
