Darlington boss Dave Penney refused to criticise defender Alan White until he had watched a video of the game after the 2-1 loss to Mansfield.Penney was disappointed with his side's performance but insisted that they could bounce back.

"I didn't see [the incident], I don't think anybody did. But we will see if there is anything on the video and if there is then Alan White has cost us the game," he said.

"When you go a goal behind you have to change things around and that's what we tried to do, it didn't come off and that's life.

"I've said it before, it's how you bounce back that is important when you have a blip and this has been another blip."
