Southend boss Steve Tilson believes it will be difficult for Bournemouth to avoid the drop after the Shrimpers' 2-1 win worsened their plight.A goal from debutant James Walker secured a win for Southend after Jason Pearce had cancelled out Lee Barnard's opener.
The Cherries are in the drop zone after having 10 points deducted after the club went into administration.
Tilson said it was a "pleasing three points" and gave an honest assessment of Bournemouth's predicament.
"I think it will be difficult for them to stay up but fair play to them, to get four out of five wins going into this game is a good achievement," he said.
"But for going into administration they would be in the midst of it and they've certainly made life difficult for us in this game."
