    1658: That result brings to an end a fantastic afternoon of football. All the headlines will go to Barnsley, and rightly so, who have beaten Liverpool 2-1. What a day for the Tykes!

    1657: The final-whistle goes at Ninian Park and Cardiff, thanks to two early goals, have beaten Wolves 2-0 to join Barnsley, Bristol Rovers, Chelsea and West Brom in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

    1656: The Barnsley players are receiving applause from everyone at Anfield. They want to stay on the pitch for as long as they can!

    1655: Charlton and Watford have drawn in the day's big game in the Championship. The Addicks will be disappointed as they let a 2-0 half-time lead slip.

    1654: West Brom have beaten Coventry 5-0. Tony Mowbray's side pulled clear after Michael Doyle's debatable sending-off.

    1653: Its also full-time at Chelsea. Avram Grant's side have beaten Huddersfield 3-1, although the League One side can be very pleased with their display.

    1652: And the final whistle has gone at Anfield! Barnsley are into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Thay have beaten Liverpool 2-1 thanks to goals from Steve Foster and Brian Howard. Incredible!

    1651: Barnsley should have had a penalty, however they regain their composure and Brian Howard fires a low shot from the edge of the area past Itandje and into the bottom left-hand corner of the Liverpool goal. They lead 2-1!

    1650: Kewell's shot from the left-hand angle of the Barnsley box is saved with ease by Steele. That could be Liverpool's last chance.

    1649: Paul Dickov rounds Stephen Bywater and slots the ball home to give Blackpool a late lifeline against Ipswich. The Tractor Boys are leading 2-1.

    1648: We are moving into three minutes of additonal time at Anfield. Can Barnsley hold on for a draw?

    1647: Ross McCormack's second goal of the game gives Motherwell a 3-1 lead against Gretna in the SPL.

    1646: Stephen Clemence's strike gives Leicester a 4-0 advantage against Norwich in the Championship.

    1645: Jamal Campbell-Ryce's tame effort is saved with ease by Itandje. That was a rare effort for Barnsley against Liverpool, however they are still level at 1-1.

    1644: The ball falls to Kuyt inside the Barnsley six-yard box, however he somehow manages to send the ball away from goal. What an awful effort!

    1643: Ian Holloway's Leicester look set to pick up a much needed win as DJ Campbell's neat finish puts them 3-0 ahead against Norwich.

    1642: Kuyt's effort from 12 yards is tipped obver the top of the Barnsley bar by Steele. Liverpool are in control yet somehow they are not winning.

    1641: Harry Kewell's dipping volley from the edge of the Barnsley box hits the bar and goes over. Liverpool will be wondering what they have to do to take the lead.

    1640: Zoltan Gera runs through one-on-one with Marshall and rounds the Coventry keeper before placing the ball into the empty net. West Brom now lead 5-0!

    1639: Andreas Hinkel scores his first goal for Celtic to give Gordon Strachan's side a 3-0 advantage against Hearts.

    1638: Swansea, looking to stretch their unbeaten run to 16 games, move 2-0 ahead against Port Vale as Jason Scotland's close-range effort finds the back of the net.

    1637: Ishmael Miller storms into the Coventry box and drills the ball past Marshall to put West Brom a 4-0 lead against the Sky Blues.

    1636: Barnsley's Brian Howard's effort from 25 yards is stopped by a diving save from Itandje. The Tykes are still drawing 1-1 with Liverpool at Anfield.

    1634: Falkirk are out of sight against St Mireen in the SPL with Patrick Cregg on target to give John Hughes' side a 4-0 advantage.

    1633: Prince Bauben scores to give Dundee United the lead against Inverness in the SPL. Craig Levein's side are having a great season so far.

    1632: Liam Hatch, playing against his former club Barnet, scores to give high flying Peterborough the lead in League Two.

    1631: Liverpool are bringing Steven Gerrard into the action against Barnsley. It will be interesting to see if the Reds' skipper can help his side take the lead.

    1630: Roman Bednar runs up to take the penalty and he scores! West Brom now lead 10-man Coventry 3-0. The Baggies will be in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

    1629: Arjan de Zeeuw handles the ball in the Coventry penalty area to give West Brom a penalty-kick.

    1628: Lampard plays Kalou through on the Huddersfield goal. The Chelsea striker works his way into a shooting position and slots a calm finish under the body of Glennon. Avram Grant's side are now winning 3-1.

    1627: League One leaders Swansea have the lead at struggling Port Vale. Jason Scotland was the man on target from the penalty spot.

    1626: Benayoun's snap-shot is stopped superbly by a reflex save from Steele. The on-loan Barnsley keepr is having a great debut!

    1625: Frazier Campbell's diving header beats Dean Gerken to equalise for Hull against Colchester.

    1624: Lucas' close-range header is tipped onto the Barnsley bar by Steele, who catches the ball on its way down. Liverpool are still drawing 0-0.

    1623: Hyypia has two shots in quick succession blocked by the Barnsley defence. Liverpool are looking very dangerous at the moment.

    1622: Scott Sinclair runs onto Pizarro's scuffed shot and fires home. However the referee, has quite rightly, ruled out that goal for offside. Chelsea lead 2-1 against Huddersfield.

    1621: Norwich's Darel Russell gets involved in a scuffle at Leicester and is dismissed by the referee. The Foxes lead that match 2-0.

    1620: Falkirk lead 3-0 against St Mirren in the SPL thanks Patrick Cregg's strike.

    1619: Andy Marshall hands the ball on a plate to Bednar inside the Coventry box. The Czech Republic international accepts the gift and fires home to give West Brom a 2-0 lead.

    1618: John Obi Mikel plays Frank Lampard through into the Huddersfield box. The Chelsea midfielder beats two men and sees his initial effort saved by Glennon, however he slots home the rebound. Avram Grant's side now lead 2-1, minutes after Kalou had a goal ruled out.

    1617: Jon Walters' calm finish doubles Ipswich's lead at home to Blackpool. It looks like game over at Portman Road.

    1616: Its now 2-2 at The Valley! Danny Shittu's thumping header finds the back of the net to draw Watford level at Charlton. The former QPR defender scored an own goal earlier in the match.

    1615: John-Joe O'Toole fires home to halve Charlton's lead against Watford. Its game on at The Valley.

    1614: Liverpool should have retaken the lead! Benayoun and Crouch have both had good efforts blocked in quick succession.

    1613: Martin Devaney's cross from the right is headed past Itandje by Steve Foster to level the scores at Anfield. Barnsley are delighted!

    1612: Nottingham Forest have the lead at home to Swindon in League One thanks to a good left-footed finish from Nathan Tyson.

    1610: Referee Mark Halsey makes an awful decision at the Ricoh Arena. He has sent off Coventry's Michael Doyle for a late challenge on Zoltan Gera. It was debatable if that was even worth a booking. West Brom still lead that match 1-0.

    1609: Velice Sumulikoski slots home a neat finish to give Ipswich a 1-0 lead at home to Blackpool. That is the Macedonian's first goal for Jim Magilton's side.

    1607: Johnnie Jackson runs onto Clive Platt's knock-on and fires a terrific half-volley into the back of the net from 25 yards. Colchester now lead Hull 1-0 in the Championship.

    1606: Gretna have quickly pulled a goal back! Former Carlisle winger Brendan McGill has halved Motherwell's advantage.

    1605: Wigan bound Ross McCormack puts Motherwell 2-0 ahead against Gretna in the SPL.

    1604: The second-half is underway at Stamford Bridge as Huddersfield look to build on a fantastic first-half against Chelsea. They are drawing 1-1.

    1551: In the big match of the day in the Championship Charlton lead 2-0 against Watford at the break. That scoreline is a real boost to the Addicks promotion hopes.

    1550: Gary Hooper drilled close range effort gives Herefored a 2-0 lead at home to Chesterfield in League Two. Graham Turner's side are having a superb season.

    1549: West Brom lead 1-0 against Coventry after the opening 45 minutes and Cardiff have a 2-0 advantage against Wolves.

    1548: The half-time whistle has gone at Stamford Bridge and Huddersfield will be delighted with the scoreline so far. They are drawing 1-1 with Chelsea!

    1543: Liverpool are currently playing with 10 men as Alonso has had to go off with a head injury. It doesn't like they will be making a change, at least until the break. They lead 1-0 against Barnsley.

    1542: Salomon Kalou runs onto Claudio Pizarro's pass and sends a wayward shot over the top of the Huddersfield bar from 20 yards. Still 1-0 to Chelsea.

    1541: Wolves are improving against Cardiff. They have taken off Olofinjana to be replaced by Freddy Eastwood and already they are looking more dangerous.

    1540: League One strugglers Cheltenham take the lead against Hartlepool thanks to Andy Lindegaard's superb effort from 20 yards.

    1538: Chris Brandon's corner is fired towards goal by Nathan Clarke, he thinks he has scored, however John Terry is on hand to head the ball off the line. That was a great chance for Huddersfield.

    1537: Lloyd Sam storms down the right flank and sees his cross put into his own net by Watford's Danny Shittu. Charlton now lead 2-0.

    1536: Coventry are improving against West Brom. Leon Best runs onto Michael Hughes' long ball and fires a wayward effort over the top of the Baggies' bar.

    1535: Leicester are in control of their Championship clash against Norwich. So far the Canaries on-loan striker Ched Evans has been quiet.

    1534: Huddersfield are starting to see more of the ball against Chelsea, however the Blues are still good value for their 1-0 lead.

    1533: Dagenham, who produced a fantastic performance to thrash Chester in midweek, are 2-0 up at Grimsby thanks to a penalty from David Rainford in League Two.

    1532: Dirk Kuyt fires home from close range after good work from Babel on the right flank. Liverpool are now ahead thanks to a long overdue goal from the Dutch striker.

    1531: Michael Mifsud's shot from the edge of the West Brom box drifts narrowly wide of Dean Kiely's right-hand post. The Baggies are still 1-0 up against Coventry.

    1530: Xabi Alonso's long range effort is tipped round the post by Barnsley keeper Steele. The Tykes' debutant keeper has played well so far.

    1529: Cardiff are in complete control oftheir clash with Wolves. They are 2-0 up.

    1528: Sami Hyypia is caught in possession by Daniel Nardiello, whose low shot is palmed round Liverpool's right-hand post by Charles Itandje. That was a great chance for Barnsley to go ahead.

    1526: Hull have been forced into an early change against Colchester with former England international Nicky Barmby replaced by Dean Marney.

    1525: Motherwell are ahead in their 'away game' at Fir Park against Gretna with former Oldham striker Chris Porter finding the back of the net.

    1524: Steve Howard flicks the ball onto Iain Hume, who runs into the Norwich box and calmly finishes to gives Leicester a 1-0 lead in the Championship.

    1523: Ryan Babel's low-angled shot is saved with ease by Steele in the centre of the Barnsley goal.

    1522: Barnsley are holding their own at Anfield against Liverpool and so far the home side are struggling to produce any attacks of note.

    1520: Chelsea are looking comfortable against Huddersfield with Sinclair in particular looking in good form this afternoon.

    1519: Celtic, who are looking to close the gap on Rangers at the top of the SPL, have the lead at home to Hearts through a goal from Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink.

    1516: Charlton have the lead against Watford with Zheng Zhi's cross turned into the back of the Watford net by a great finish by Darren Ambrose.

    1513: West Brom are on top against Coventry in the FA Cup and already they have seen Roman Bednar and Zoltan Gera miss good chances to give them the lead.

    1502: Peter Whittingham storms through the Wolves defence and fires a calm finish past Wolves' keeper Wayne Hennessey togive Cardiff the lead in their FA Cup fifth-round clash.

    1500: The action is under way at Stamford Bridge as Avram Grant's Chelsea take on League One Huddersfield.

    1458: Dundee United manager Craig Levein decides to change five players for the visit to Inverness in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League, following the midweek defeat to St Mirren.

    Sean Dillon, Garry Kenneth, Danny Grainger, Jim O'Brien and Prince Buaben return after not starting in Wednesday's Scottish Cup fifth-round replay.

    Darren Dods, Noel Hunt, David Robertson and Craig Conway drop to the substitutes' bench, while Christian Kalvenes is not named in the squad.

    Inverness player-manager Craig Brewster hands recent signing from Clyde Dougie Imrie his first start for the club, with Dennis Wyness missing out altogether.

    In the only other alteration to last weekend's 1-1 draw at St Mirren, Phil McGuire replaces hamstring injury victim David Proctor.

    1457: Falkirk are seeking to end a four-game losing run as they welcome Scottish Cup quarter-finalists St Mirren to Westfield.

    The Bairns make just one change to the team beaten 2-0 by Rangers in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League last weekend as fit-again Kevin McBride replaces Gerard Aafjes.

    St Mirren are out to add a league win to their 1-0 cup victory at Dundee United in midweek, and manager Gus MacPherson brings in Stephen McGinn for the suspended Will Haining. Goalkeeper Mark Howard retains his place ahead of the ill Chris Smith.

    1456: Gretna and Motherwell each make three changes to their starting line-ups for the basement side's 'home' match against their Fir Park landlords in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

    Goalkeeper Artur Krysiak makes his first start for lowly Gretna in place of the suspended Greg Fleming, while head coach Davie Irons also brings in Danny Hall and Brendan McGill for the injured Aurelien Collin and benched Rostyn Griffiths.

    Motherwell manager Mark McGhee recalls captain Paul Quinn after suspension, and striker Chris Porter returns for the fourth-placed side after recovering from a knee injury. Darren Smith also starts as Brian McLean, Steven McGarry and Keith Lasley drop to the bench.

    1455: Celtic manager Gordon Strachan makes one change from their emphatic victory over Aberdeen for the visit of Hearts in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League today.

    Paul Hartley is dropped to the bench to accommodate the introduction of Massimo Donati.

    Hearts also made a single change following their victory over Gretna last week, with Michael Stewart making way for Eggert Jonsson.

    1454: Liverpool leave Steven Gerrard on the bench and rest Javier Mascherano, Jose Reina and the almost-fit Fernando Torres for their FA Cup fifth-round tie against Barnsley at Anfield.

    French goalkeeper Charles Itandje gets another run-out, while Jamie Carragher captains the side.

    Barnsley have emergency loan goalkeeper Luke Steele in the side after he was drafted in from West Brom, while Lewin Nyatanga and Jon Macken are cup-tied. Former Everton midfielder Anderson de Silva is included in Simon Davey's line-up.

    1453: Frank Lampard is the only player remaining from the side which drew 0-0 with Liverpool last Sunday as Chelsea coach Avram Grant makes 10 changes for the visit of Huddersfield in the FA Cup.

    Captain John Terry is back in action to partner Tal Ben-Haim in the centre of the defence. Former Chelsea stalwart Frank Sinclair captains Huddersfield against his former club.

    1442: Cardiff boss Dave Jones had made one change to the side which drew with Coventry in midweek.

    Wales international Joe Ledley has a hamstring injury so Stephen McPhail comes into thecentre of the Bluebirds' midfield with Aaron Ramsey moving over to the left.

    Wolves have been forced to make a number of changes to the side that drew 0-0 with Blackpool in midweek.

    Sylvain Ebanks-Blake, David Edwards and George Elokobi are all cup-tied and Darren Ward and Matt Jarvis also miss out. Seyi Olofinjana, Jody Craddock, Jay Bothroyd, Darren Potter and Michael Gray come in.

    1437: Coventry's caretaker manager's Frankie Bunn and John Harbin have made three changes to the side that drew with Cardiff in midweek for their clash with West Brom in the FA Cup.

    Arjan de Zeeuw, Marcus Hall and Robbie Simpson all come in, while Julian Gray drops to the bench and Scott Dann and Daniel Fox miss out completely.

    West Brom boss Tony Mowbray makes three changes to his side after they drew 0-0 with Sheffield United in midweek.

    Kevin Phillips and Ishmael Miller drop to the bench with Roman Bednar playing as a lone striker. Jonathan Greening misses out through suspension with Pele and Zoltan Gera also coming into the Baggies' side.

    1425: The referee has blown for full-time at the Memorial Stadium and Bristol Rovers have reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first time in 50 years after beating Southampton 1-0. The match itself wasn't very good but the home side won't care as they have beaten a poor Southampton side.

    1412: Bristol Rovers are leading Southampton 1-0 in their FA Cup fifth-round tie after Richard Lambert's free-kick from the edge of the box is deflected into the back of the net by Jermaine Wright. Kelvin Davis would have saved that effort without the deflection.

    1320: It's half time in the FA Cup fifth-round clash between Bristol Rovers and Southampton and so far it remains goalless at the Memorial Stadium.

    1200: Those hoping to tune in for Leeds' League One trip to face Doncaster have been let done by the weather. Unfortunately the clash at the Keepmoat Stadium has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
