Six Nations - Marcato returns to Italy squad

Italy welcome back four injured players including fly-half Andrea Marcato for their Six Nations championship game against Scotland a week on Saturday.

Coach Nick Mallett, whose side lost 38-9 to Ireland on Sunday having been beaten by England in their opening match, named a 24-man squad for the clash at Murrayfield.

Marcato and lock Marco Bortolami have recovered from head and knee injuries which forced them out of the Ireland game while scrum-half Pablo Canavosio and hooker Leonardo Ghiraldini have been included after missing both matches with knocks.

Uncapped utility back Giulio Rubini has also been called up. Injured winger Kaine Robertson and inexperienced scrum-half Giulio Toniolatti have been left out along with forwards Tommaso Reato and Carlo Festuccia.
