Seasiders to monitor Phillips

Matt Phillips remains Blackpool's only injury doubt ahead of the FA Cup fifth-round tie with Everton at Goodison Park.

Phillips has displayed breathtaking form in recent weeks to help the Seasiders' npower Championship promotion push gather pace, but a tight hamstring strain ruled the 20-year-old out of Tuesday night's 3-1 win at Doncaster and boss Ian Holloway will assess his progress ahead of kick-off.

Holloway said: "He (Phillips) is the only one we're waiting on really, and then it's down to me to decide who I'm going to play, who I'm going to pick and how we go about it."

On-loan Wigan forward Nouha Dicko stepped in for Phillips at the Keepmoat Stadium and is well placed to retain his place in the starting line-up having netted his first Blackpool goal.

During their maiden Barclays Premier League campaign last season, Blackpool missed out 5-3 against David Moyes' team on Merseyside having led a thrilling contest 3-2 during the second half.
