Birmingham will be without strikers Marlon King and Nikola Zigic for their FA Cup fifth-round trip to Chelsea.
King has struggled to shake off a groin complaint of late, playing through the pain barrier in a number of matches including Tuesday's goalless draw against Hull.
And manager Chris Hughton has ruled his top scorer out of the clash at Stamford Bridge, providing a real selection poser in attack with Zigic also still on the sidelines.
The towering Serbian, currently second behind King in City's goalscoring charts, has missed all three games since his four-goal salvo downed Leeds at Elland Road.
Midfielder Guirane N'Daw also continues to sit out with his hamstring injury.
Blues head to London aiming to extend their 13-match unbeaten run in all competition and pile more pressure on stuttering Chelsea and under-pressure boss Andre Villas-Boas.
