MK Dons general manager Keith Dickens has praised the backing of the fans after the club sold their initial 26,000 allocation for Wembley. The Dons face Grimsby in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on March 30 and sold all of the tickets available to them in just five days on general sale, with some fans queueing for four hours outside the ground.

The club have made a request for more tickets to be made available to cope with the massive demand, and Dickens told the Milton Keynes Citizen: "The response from the fans has been absolutely fantastic and I'd like to thank them for all their support and patience."
