Preston boss Alan Irvine insists his side remain firmly on track to achieve his points target of 54 to safeguard their Championship status.Saturday's goalless home draw at bitter Lancashire rivals Blackpool took the Lilywhites to 47 points with seven games remaining.
Irvine knows more results are still required from the last seven games if his side are to ensure they stay in the division.
"I set a target of 54 points for safety so we are now seven points away from that," he said.
"Whether we need that many I don't know but that's a target I set back in January and I feel that is a good target to aim for.
"If we get there earlier then I'll be delighted and I'll set another target."
