Neil Harris could yet have a big part to play in Millwall's fight against relegation despite being told he can leave by manager Kenny Jackett.Harris made his first appearance in a month as a substitute during Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by Leyton Orient after injuries once again decimated the Lions' forward line.
The 30-year-old striker is Millwall's record league goalscorer with 100 strikes during two spells at the club.
"I never said Neil wouldn't play for us again," said Jackett.
"I've lost Gary Alexander and Lewis Grabban recently and Neil is a senior striker so I brought him into the 16, and he put in a good header which could have led to a goal.
"If someone works hard and shows a good attitude in training then that is all that counts. Winning games is my only focus."
