Hull midfielder David Livermore has returned to League One club Oldham to continue his loan spell after recovering from injury. The 27-year-old has been receiving treatment from the Tigers for the hip flexor injury which has forced him to miss the Latics' four games.

Livermore has made seven first-team starts for John Sheridan's men since joining the club in January but has been sidelined since the 3-0 win over Port Vale on March 1.

A statement on Oldham's official website said: "Manager John Sheridan will run the rule over the player this week before making a decision on his availability for the game against Millwall on Saturday."
