Charlton defender Paddy McCarthy is confident the floodgates will open for the Addicks' misfiring strikers sooner rather than later.Boss Alan Pardew has used no fewer than eight forwards in the league this season and top-scorer Chris Iwelumo has 10 to his name, with Luke Varney having found the net seven times.
Recent signings Leroy Lita and Andy Gray have yet to open their accounts, Svetoslav Todorov, Izale McLeod and Chris Dickson are long-term injury absentees and Marcus Bent joined Wigan on loan back in August.
The Addicks drew a blank in last week's defeats by Burnley and Ipswich which saw them drop to ninth in the table, but centre-half McCarthy insists the goals will start to flow again.
"The fans can see the effort that the lads put in, but maybe a little bit of extra nous around the box let us down a bit," he said.
"The goals will come, we've got five or six unbelievable strikers here and as soon as one gets a goal, you'll see a different team."
