Alan Pardew insists faltering Charlton will bounce back from their nightmare run of results and still have a major say in the promotion race.The Addicks have taken just one point from their last four Championship games and slumped to back-to-back away defeats at Burnley and Ipswich without registering a goal.

Saturday's Portman Road reverse saw them slip from fifth to ninth, but with a Good Friday clash at home to West Brom on the horizon, Pardew is remaining bullish about his side's promotion chances.

"The fans who have seen the last two away games will have seen that we are far from finished, and things are far from over from us," said Pardew.

"It's frustrating but this group has got enough character and resilience in it to bounce back."
