Pipe likely to miss Swans clash

Mon 17 Mar, 04:45 PM

The visit of leaders Swansea looks like coming too soon for Bristol Rovers midfielder David Pipe, who remains sidelined with a hip problem.Pipe has resumed training but is still sore and Huddersfield's visit to the Memorial Stadium at the weekend is a more realistic target for his comeback.

Another player who could return against the Terriers is Steve Elliott. The defender has been sidelined for two months with a knee injury but is set to play for the reserves on Tuesday and could be included in the first-team squad if he comes through the game unscathed.

On loan midfielder Anthony Pulis has returned to Stoke to receive treatment for his thigh injury.

Long-term absentee Ryan Green will find out this week if he requires an operation to solve his troublesome Achilles problem. If he does, the defender's season will be over.
