Paris St Germain striker Pauleta could miss the Coupe de la Ligue final against Lens after injuring his thigh at the weekend.

The former Portugal international scored PSG's equaliser in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Valenciennes but sustained a thigh strain which may keep him out of the final on March 29.

The results of an MRI scan on the injury will be revealed at the start of this week.

Pauleta is set to leave PSG at the end of the season and the cup final will be his final chance to pick up silverware for the club where he has spent the last five years.

The 34-year-old is set to retire in the summer, following a career that started in the lower divisions in Portugal and Spain and also included spells at Bordeaux and Deportivo.
