Assistant boss calls for no let-up

Thu 17 Apr, 05:00 PM

Assistant-boss Dean White has called for no let-up from Brighton when Hartlepool visit the Withdean despite Albion's remote play-off chances. The Seagulls are four points adrift of the final play-off spot which is currently occupied by Leeds, who could yet have some or all of their 15-point penalty returned.

But White is looking for maximum effort from his players against a Pools side with seemingly little to play for.

"They are a decent footballing team. All the reports say that they try to pass it," said White.

"They are safe but we've got something to play for. We need to go out there and win the game, and we need to play well at home."
