Defender Dale Bennett is aiming to emulate John-Joe O'Toole's rise into the Watford first team after signing a professional deal.The 18-year-old has captained the Academy side this season and is hoping to follow midfielder O'Toole into Adrian Boothroyd's squad.

He told the club's official website: "It's good to see because last season John-Joe was playing in the youth team with us and you can see what he's achieved now.

"He's playing for Ireland Under-21s and playing for the first team.

"He went on loan to Wealdstone, came back and got in the team playing regularly and I hope I can do the same."
