Preston defender Billy Jones has urged his side to put Plymouth to the sword at Home Park this weekend and finally end their relegation fears.North End cannot yet rest easy after slumping to a disappointing 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Barnsley.
They remain on 54 points and Jones accepts his side could mathematically be overhauled unless they return to winning ways.
"The gaffer has been going on about it but the players know it themselves," said the right-back.
"When we hit the 54-point mark, we all thought we were going to be safe but when you look at it we are nowhere near safe and we could get dragged back into it.
"The gaffer has set the target of winning the next three games and we've recently got good away wins at places like Charlton so I'm sure we can do it at Plymouth and Bristol City."
