Manager Ian Holloway believes Leicester will create enough opportunities to score the goals that will ultimately save the club from relegation. The Foxes slipped back into the Championship's bottom three this week after Sheffield Wednesday's late equaliser against Plymouth Argyle salvaged a draw for the Yorkshire club.
City squandered a host of chances in their last game against already-relegated Colchester before Iain Hume eventually found the net in the 89th minute to rescue what could prove to be a vital point.
Ahead of his side's trip to Barnsley, Holloway said: "I set the team a target of eight goals in the last four games and we got one against Colchester, but with the chances we are creating I still think we can do it.
"Matty Fryatt was down in the dumps after the game because of his missed chances, but I asked the dressing room who had missed chances and about eight players put their hands up. That proves no-one is going to feel he is alone.
"I know there is tension and nervousness but the fact that opportunities are there should give the team a bit of confidence."
