Norwegian youngster Edvald Boasson Hagen won the 49th Grand Prix de Denain, the fifth round of the Coupe de France.

The 20-year-old from the High Road team was the quickest of a 15-man escape group that formed during the race.

It was a second victory this season for the former Maxbo-Bianchi rider after a success at the Critérium International last month.
