Scottish Premier League - Trio nominatead for managers gong

Celtic's Gordon Strachan, Hamilton's Billy Reid and St Johnstone's Derek McInnes are up for the PFA Scotland manager of the year award.

Gordon Strachan, Celtic manager - 0

Strachan's side currently lie top of the Scottish Premier League and he also led them to victory in the Co-operative Insurance Cup last month.

Reid, last year's winner, has masterminded Hamilton's first top-flight campaign for 19 years, which currently sees them six points above bottom side Falkirk.

McInnes has led St Johnstone to the brink of promotion to the SPL.

The nominees were voted for by the 42 club managers from across Scotland.

The winner will be revealed at a dinner at the Hilton Glasgow on Sunday May 3, sponsored by Cheque Centre.

    Aye I agree with you MacDonald! I'm a Rangers fan­ aswell and reckon that it should have been a no brainer­ for Laszlo to at least have been given a nomination. If­ he was given a decent transfer budget I think he could­ have gave the old firm a right good run for their­ money. Why was Strachan given the nod for a­ nomination??? He's only going to win the league cup­ this season!!!

  12. as a rangers fan i think laszlo should be up for­ manager of the year, he's had pretty much the same­ squad as last year to work with and made them into a­ far better team! third best team in spl easily!
