MK Dons boss Paul Ince's agent believes it is "a bit sinister" the former England captain was not named LMA League Two Manager of the Year. The former Manchester United midfielder led the Dons to both the League Two title and Johnstone's Paint Trophy glory, but Graham Turner's achievement in steering Hereford to promotion saw him win the LMA award.
That meant Ince was the only title-winning manager not to be recognised as Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson, Tony Mowbray of West Brom and Roberto Martinez (Swansea) took the honours in their respective divisions.
Ince's agent Steve Kutner said: "I consider it a bit sinister that every manager who won the league from the Premier all the way through was named LMA Manager of the Year except Paul, who won the double in his first season.
"I have nothing against Graham Turner, I just cannot understand how Paul could have been overlooked."
