Hart may make changes

Sun 17 May, 11:38 AM

Portsmouth boss Paul Hart may rest some senior men for the visit of Sunderland after his side`s safety was secured without playing on Saturday.

Defender Younes Kaboul was substituted in last Saturday's defeat at Blackburn after missing three games with a thigh injury, while striker Peter Crouch has started all 46 games this season and could benefit from a rest - or at least a front-line partner in veteran Kanu.

Noe Pamarot is available again after suspension while on-loan Armand Traore has recovered from a groin problem and could make his first appearance since Hart took charge in February.

  3. Lets try and win this one eh? Put out an attacking side, it does not matter now. The fans want to see some football. We are safe so lets enjoy it. Why do the Pompey players always look so miserable when they are playing?

  6. Hart has led us to safety and should be given credit (I hope he stays in charge of the Youth Academy), but his negativity and low expectations aren't what Pompey fans want to see week in, week out. Our squad are easily as good as Fulham's - no excuses.

  8. Its as fair as the team Manu Td will put out against Hull isn't it Peter A? I'm quite sure you could look back over the season and see that all the tems in the relegation fight have at one point faced a weakened team, Middlesbrough had a chance against a weakened Man Utd team just a couple of weeks ago. Now its Sunderland's turn and I hope we take it. But please do not make out that we are getting an unfair advantage as all the teams have had oppotunities against weakened opposition at some point.
