Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond believes their opening League Two fixture against Gillingham on August 9 will be "a good test".Both sides were relegated to the bottom tier of the Football League last season and will be hoping to get off to a solid start.
Bond told the Daily Echo: "Gillingham came down with us and will certainly be wanting to bounce straight back.
"I expect them to be a strong outfit and that will be a big test for us and a good test for the first game of the season.
"Results breed confidence so everybody will be looking to get a good start and we're no different."
