Lewwis Spence has set his sights on helping Wycombe secure promotion next season after arriving on a two-year deal from Crystal Palace. The 20-year-old - who appeared twice for the Eagles last season - was released recently and manager Peter Taylor wasted little time in luring the youngster to Adams Park.
Spence told the club's official website: "It's great for me to come here to get some league experience. I've seen Wycombe do well in the league last year and I want to be part of that. I want to go one better and get promotion.
"It's a whole new start for me but I'm looking forward to it. I've got ambitions to play in the Championship or higher and I think I can achieve that.
"At the moment I haven't got the experience, I know that. That's why I've come here and I'm going to work as hard as possible."
