BERLIN (AFP) - Germany's Euro 2008 top scorer Lukas Podolski has revealed Juventus and Tottenham have been in contact and he is interested in joining both of those clubs, German press reported.
German daily Express, to appear on Wednesday, reported Tottenham were ready to pay 20 million euros for "Poldi," who has scored three goals for his country at the continental championships hosted by Switzerland and Austria.
"I was informed of the interest of both of these clubs and I find it very interesting," Poldolski told the paper.
Podolski, the best young player of the 2006 World Cup, joined Bayern Munich for 10 million euros two years ago, however he has not been able to get a regular first team place.
Jurgen Klinsmann, who starts as coach of Bayern in July, had launched Podolski's international career while the player was still at second division Cologne.

im a spurs fan but i aggree with tim griggs its called bieing desperate and its embarassing
Its pretty obvious that Berbie is leaving. Why else would Spurs be chasing another striker?
lets just hope he goes to spurs!!!
lets hope with the few plays that have already come in at the lane barba will stay and win thinks at the lane .
maybe Klinsmannwill swap Podolski for Darren Bent. Do his old club a favour, twice!
Surely most of these rumours are started by the agents of the players to whip up interest from other clubs.
I agree, it is getting rather annoying seeing spurs chasing anyone and everyone. I like the signings thus far but Spurs need to get rid of some extra players sometime. I think we are set at forward as well, especially with the signing of Dos Santos and if Berbs stays.... I think just a keeper is all Spurs need to find now, hopefully the signing of PSV's keeper goes through and isn't just another rumor.
Spurs showing interest in yet another player - shocking. Seems like anyone and everyone who is available has Spurs chomping at the bit, but it always turns out to be fruitless. They need to show a bit more restraint and pick their targets carefully, rather than hungrily chasing after each and every player. Just seems desperate.
