Nathan Dyer and Bradley Wright-Phillips have been charged with burglary after items were allegedly stolen from a nightclub.
Southampton pair Dyer, 20, and Wright-Phillips, 23 (pictured), were charged following an incident at the Bar Bluu club in Southsea, Hampshire, on February 28 this year.
The pair both attended Portsmouth Central Police Station where they were charged and bailed to appear before the city's magistrates' court on July 8.
Dyer and Wright-Phillips, who is the son of former England star Ian Wright and younger half-brother of Chelsea and England player Shaun Wright-Phillips, were arrested after staff at the nightclub reported the alleged thefts.
The staff members claimed that during a night when the venue hosted R&B star Kano, three mobile phones, £145 in cash, student cards and cigarettes were allegedly stolen from three handbags.
The investigation by Hampshire police was launched after two men were filmed on CCTV entering the unlocked staff room.
Southampton football club declined to comment while the matter against the players was being investigated by police and the case goes through the courts.

it goes to say football will protect them and when they come back they will play football again instead of being kicked out the game and make them work for a living like those people who had the things stolen from them , but they still be playing next season cos football has no thought except money , mind you they been trained well mr lowe
They should NOW be suspended and all wages stopped then when theyre found guilty(as they are)sack them.....theyre both useless anyway!!!! Thatll save Lowe a few more quid!!
prision football should be good next season with mccormick in goal, dyer and barton in midfield and wright-phillips up front should make for a real life mean machine....lol
