  1. Don't despair all you doubters. Southgate will pack the midfield, and hope someone puts the ball in the net! Then he will out think the opposition manager to make sure he holds on to the lead. If the opposition score first he will despair at the lack of luck in the championship. We couldn't beat Cardiff at home in the Quarter Final FA cup in the previous season, the writing was on the wall then and agree with Cameron now that it will not be easy for either of our north east clubs!

  2. Cameron you have been one of the few talking sense on here lately, yes, both our teams are going to struggle with the change to Championship football, I hope we sign a few meatheads to get us through the coming battles...ffs i wish we hadnt sold Cattermole.

  3. Dear me, talk about an apathetic response to the release of the fixtures!
Footyfan4eva, i thought you might've had something to say!
Have you seen my team's opening fixtures; couldn't be more tougher - welcome to the Championship, it's gonna be one long old slog. I'm gonna do my very best to enjoy the experience though, for one season only (hopefully!!!!).

  4. looking at the fixtures is a little depressing but there are plenty of teams in there who have taken league points off us in the last few years not to mention a league cup. nothing is easy if its worth having and going straight back to the top flight certainly wont be easy
