American goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann agreed to join Wolves on a one-year deal after leaving Reading.
Hahnemann, 37, spent seven years at the Royals after joining from Fulham.
He will provide competition to Wayne Hennessey and Matt Murray for the starting goalkeeper position.
"I'm excited to be here," he said.
"Wolves were one of Reading's main rivals and I've always had good experiences when I've come up here.
"The games here have always been good and it was a great opportunity (to sign), one that I couldn't turn down.
"My buddy Kasey Keller played with Mick (McCarthy) and when I told him what was happening he said it would be great for me to come to Molineux."

come on wolves get the wallet out and buy some decent players or we will be back where we have just come from.
same old story buy 1 foreign player the rest are gonna be old freebies same old moxey .wolves will not go any where as long as hes here get rid soon or get relegated
wolves are welcome to him dont no why we kept him for so long
Wolves will be down in the Premiership if they have to rely on Hahnemann, he is butter fingered, takes to many chances, yes he was good, but si getting to old. Otherwise why did Reading get shot of him.
hanneman was the best rated keeper outside the prem league(most clean sheets) not bad considering he missed about 12 games thru injury.....i think nicky hammond should fall on his sword & go........royals will do nothing with buck rogers in charge
I like him hes a good goalkeeper, we need the cover for hennessey, matt murray is injury prone.
Buying Has Bins Again
saya hm220 hotel uitm sokong hahnemann
It is about time Wolves got someone decent.
