Foxes host Swans

Leicester will begin life back in the Championship with a home game against Swansea at the Walkers Stadium on August 8.

The League One champions will then visit Ipswich on August 15 before another away game at Sheffield United on August 18.

Nigel Pearson`s side finish August with a trip to St James` Park to face Newcastle, with the return fixture at the Walkers Stadium on January 30.

October begins with games against midlands rivals Coventry and Derby, with the return fixtures not coming until the end of March.

The Foxes` festive programme starts with a trip to Cardiff on December 19 before Sheffield United visit the Walkers Stadium on Boxing Day. City will travel to Doncaster for their final fixture of 2009 on December 28.

Leicester conclude the campaign with a home game against Middlesbrough on May 2.
