Northampton boss Stuart Gray says his preparations for next season are taking shape after the futures of Jason Crowe and Giles Coke were decided.

Crowe left the club for Leeds on Tuesday but there was positive news with Coke opting to sign a new contract at Sixfields when he returns from his holiday.

"The picture is obviously now a little clearer for us," he told the Northampton Chronicle and Echo. "We are currently in talks with a number of players about bringing them to the club."

"I am pleased Giles has decided to stay with us next season.

"He is a player with a huge amount of natural ability and a lot of potential. He was very influential for us the season before last with some important goals from midfield and while last season was obviously disappointing for all of us, I am sure he can be a big player for us this season."
