Paul Peschisolido admits that a trip to Shrewsbury is a tough opening fixture for Burton - but the Brewers` boss insists his side will not be daunted by the prospect of facing last season`s League Two play-off finalists.
The Blue Square Premier champions will begin life in the Football League at the Prostar Stadium on August 8.
Peschisolido would have preferred to start the campaign with a home fixture, but is happy that his side will finish the season at the Pirelli Stadium against Grimsby on May 8.
"It`s exciting. I wanted a home tie to start with but it wasn`t to be. We have got to play everyone twice so it doesn't really matter," said Peschisolido.
"It`s a tough one to start but it is one that we are really looking forward to and one we will prepare to hopefully get some points from in pre-season.
"I guess having the last game at home kind of makes up for it, but we are hoping that won`t be an issue as we are hoping to be at the other end of the table rather than at the bottom end."
