Falkirk have been handed a tough start to the new Scottish Premier League campaign as they visit Rangers on the opening day of the season.

The Bairns travel to Ibrox on August 15, with Hibernian visiting Falkirk Stadium seven days later.

Celtic visit on November 7, while Walter Smith's champions come on December 5, before a home Boxing Day clash with Hearts later that month.

January 30 sees a second visit to Ibrox, while St Mirren provide the final opposition of the regular season with an April 10 clash at Falkirk Park.
