Garry O'Connor and Gary McSheffrey were again on the scoresheet as Birmingham beat Czech side Viktoria Plzen 3-1 in Austria.O'Connor scored his second of the week while McSheffrey grabbed his third in seven days from the spot before Mehdi Nafti added the final goal in the second half.
Blues boss Alex McLeish included trialists Zola Matumona, a 20-year-old FC Brussels midfielder, and French centre-back Yamoudou Camara, 20, while new signing Marcus Bent watched from the sidelines.
