Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins is likely to resist the urge to risk midfielder Grant McCann in Saturday's pre-season friendly at Doncaster.McCann is currently struggling to recover from the foot injury which prevented him from featuring in the 2-1 win over Brigg Town on Tuesday and is expected to miss out again.

Adkins, meanwhile, is hoping out-of-contract defender Marcus Williams will be involved, but has warned the 22-year-old he will not feature again for the club until he has penned a new deal.
