Peterborough United have confirmed that Posh striker Aaron Mclean has been taken off the transfer list at his own request.Mclean requested a move after scoring 33 goals last season as Darren Ferguson's men won promotion from League Two.

The 25-year-old was wanted by Championship side Wolves but after seeing two bids rejected by ambitious Posh, Wanderers turned their attention to Charlton striker Chris Iwelumo.

And Mclean has now pledged his immediate future to the London Road side.
