Poland international Mariusz Lewandowski has turned down a move to several British clubs and will stay at Shakhtar Donetsk.
The holding midfielder, who played all three games at Euro 2008, had been linked with Everton, Fulham and Celtic but said he wanted to remain in Ukraine to play Champions League football.
"I am not going anywhere. It is almost 100 percent sure that I will stay at Shakhtar," he said.
"I have received some offers but in sporting and financial aspect none of them was satisfactory for me and my club. I do not want to move because I feel very good here.
"I already said in the winter that I have no intention of leaving a club which plays in the group stage of the Champions League on a regular basis.
"Theoretically Celtic also offers regular Champions League football but they could not afford my transfer fee."
