Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will lead the field at next month's US Open at Flushing Meadows.
Last year's runner-up Novak Djokovic and British number one Andy Murray join world number one Federer and world number two Nadal on the list of players for the August 25 to September 7 tournament.
Federer will attempt to stretch his Open era record for consecutive titles to five in New York, while Nadal hopes to add a first hardcourt Grand Slam to his growing collection of Major trophies.
Former winners Lleyton Hewitt and Marat Safin are also part of the field that includes nine past Grand Slam champions, while Juan Carlos Ferrero is the only other previous finalist in this year's tournament.
Both the men's and women's champions will receive $1.5 million (£750,000) in prize money with a chance to earn up to $2.5 million (£1.25 million) on the basis of results in the North American summer hardcourt series.
Federer claimed a record $2.4 million (£1.2 million) prize for winning both the US Open Series and the Flushing Meadows title last year.
World number 103 Sergio Roitman was the 104th and final player to receive direct entry into the men's field.
Organisers will award eight wild cards and the 16 remaining entries will be decided by a qualifying tournament.

federer will always be number one - ans its a matter of time until he recovers and teach nadal to play federer tennis.
i knw fedxx u lost some gr8 finalss bt dont worry u rr still no.1..u rr still d gr8 king of backhand.....goo & beat dat rafa"s record of consecutive wins...bst of luck!!!!
US Open will be a hell of a tournament, if Federer manage to finally recover from his last defeats against Nadal, specially at wimbledon.
I think the big FedEx was suported by two things... His #1 spot and his Wimbledon title. He was defeated at Wimbledon and everybody saw the effects. Lets hope e don't fall apart because of loosing his #1 spot to Nadal. I'm a Nadal fan but games like what we saw between them in Rome 2006 or the last two wimbledon finals are what tennis need!!!
They lead the peloton thowards Flushing Meadows but they must look back because Djoko, Murray, or even Gasquet (if he plays like the first set against Nadal in Toronto) are trying to break away, even though a final between Nadal and Federer in 5 sets would be awesome
Rafa you are the best!!! My wife and son roots for R Federer while me and my daughter goes for Rafa. What a rivalry. More Finals from the two greats please... Pretender Djokovic and Murray... step aside please!
Go Rafael Nadal

Federer and Nadal really the best.Federer the best on hard and grass. Nadal the best on clay.I don't know who is the best. C'mon Roger and Rafa!!!
I think that Federer is still the complete package, give Nadal his due, but I think Federer will be fired up more than ever to avenge his loss to Nadal in the last two Grandslam finals. Go federer.
my question is safin's form safin can still dominate if he has head on straight, espically at the hardcourt (his favorite).
Nadal is like Lewis Hamilton
Too much mediocrity from the 100-3, Where are the good tennis players.
It is hard to watch tennis when Blake struggle with the number 243 and we can go on and on
rafa is a wutuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu for Fedex shupak
