Crewe head coach Steve Holland was full of praise for Carlisle striker Danny Graham's clinical finishing in the 4-2 defeat at Brunton Park.Graham bagged a first-half brace, the first of which was a stunning volley, before Chris McCready reduced the deficit.
But the Cumbrians cruised to victory thanks to second-half efforts from Scott Dobie and Simon Hackney before Tom Pope bagged a consolation for Crewe.
"That first strike (from Graham) was terrific," said Holland. "They were more clinical than us and better defensively at times, too.
"There was not a lot wrong with us between the two penalty boxes. We created plenty of chances."
