Bury manager Alan Knill insists his team "can get better" after their 3-1 victory away to League Two rivals Chesterfield on Saturday.Ben Futcher, Efe Sodje and Andy Morrell hit the target as the Shakers completed an impressive victory at Saltergate.
Knill said: "I am delighted to come to a club that is probably one of the favourites to get promotion and win the game quite comfortably.
"I think that this is a massive statement for two reasons. Although it's still very early in the season we have shown we are ready and that we have got a decent squad that has a strong will to win and wants to get better.
"We have also shown that we are not a one-man team in Andy Bishop. We want to take the pressure off him and Andy Morrell has come in and done really well with Glynn Hurst.
"Andy Morrell hardly ever stands still. He gives us enthusiasm, energy and, obviously, goals."
