Ipswich boss Jim Magilton confirmed after Saturday's win at Burnley that Fulham had accepted his offer for former Arsenal defender Moritz Volz. The Tractor Boys are reported to have made a bid of around £500,000 for Volz and, while Magilton did not reveal the fee, he has now confirmed the right-back is set for talks at Portman Road.
"We have made an offer to Fulham for Moritz Volz and it has been accepted," said Magilton.
Volz, 25, has made 125 Premier League appearances for the Cottagers since joining the club in 2004, but lost his right-back spot to Paul Stalteri towards the end of last season.
A former Germany Under-21 international, Volz started his career with Schalke before moving to Arsenal, where he found opportunities.
