Huddersfield manager Stan Ternent was satisfied with his side's unbeaten start in League One after they drew 0-0 at Colchester. The U's had edged the opening 45 minutes, with Clive Platt's close-range effort pushed around the post by Terriers keeper Matt Glennon and winger Mark Yeates hitting the woodwork with a chipped free-kick from the edge of the area.
However, Huddersfield also looked a potent attacking force and the evergreen Andy Booth's half-volley sailed only inches over for the visitors before the break.
Ternent said: "I'm happy with the clean sheet. We've played three games now and we've conceded one goal.
"It's two points from six but it's an undefeated run and there are foundations to build on.
"We created numerous chances and sooner or later, they'll go in for us. The players acquitted themselves very well and we'll get better."
