  1. to #2 - Where is Serena you ask? Are you freaking serious man? Did you even look at the damn draw? Petrova, the 12th ranked woman in the world, is the #1 seed. The next highest ranked woman in the draw, Aleksandra Wozniak, is ranked 35th in the world. And after her, the next highest ranked women in the tourney are Safarova and Czink, ranked 50 and 52 in the world, respectively. And after these two, the rest of the women are either outside the top 100 in the world, or BARELY inside of it.

Your question should not be where is Serena. It should be where are ANY of the top women in the game. None of them are playing in the tournament. So why should Serena? I bet Serena was like, "why would I play this tournament? there is absolutely no competition here." Do you think she'd play it for money? hahhaaha yeah right...she doesn't need money. lol why would they bother playing in a tournament that was a tier III tourney. LOLOL.

Serena doesn't need the points. ::giggle:: The notion that Serena needs the points is laughable. If anyone needs them, it's Safina. It's only a matter of time before Serena catches up and re-claims her rightful ranking. I'm surprised she hasn't already, but the fact that Safina plays every damn tournament she can (and she often does so strategically, playing the ones where the best players are not, so as to give herself a better chance of winning and therefore earning more ranking points) and had a very good season last season are the primary reasons. However, if she keeps choking and losing to these no-name players, Serena will be back on top even sooner. OHHHH and if Serena had not lost her temper at the US Open, she may have been able to come back and beat Clijsters and win yet ANOTHER US Open title. This is very plausible. She has come back from far worse deficits before. Just think, if she HAD done that, she would be #1 as of this very moment, if I'm not mistaken.

  2. Why do you think, comment No 2, that Serena needs the points more?
And how retarded are you to ask where Serena is at...dude, if you are a racist with no shame, you shouldn't expose yourself on a network like this. Go look for where skinheads bombard with hatred and senseless comments.
Gosh how much I hate those wicked people
