Foster blunder hands Orient victory
Danny Foster's own goal condemned Brentford to a 2-1 defeat at Leyton Orient.
The hosts fell behind early on to Carl Cort's header and looked to be heading for defeat when Scott McGleish's spot-kick was saved by Nikki Bull.
However, McGleish redeemed himself by grabbing Orient's equaliser before Foster inadvertently diverted Andros Townsend's cross into his own net.
Cort nodded home Sam Wood's free-kick in the fourth minute to put the Bees ahead.
Orient rarely threatened until striker Ryan Jarvis was upended by Mark Phillips and Brentford goalkeeper Bull, despite diving the wrong way, saved McGleish's penalty with his shins.
McGleish made amends almost immediately after the interval when he hooked in a knockdown by Tamika Mkandawire from Jason Demetriou's cross
Orient keeper Glenn Morris made a fine full-stretch save to hold a 25-yard drive from midfielder Cleveland Taylor before the hosts edged ahead through Foster's own goal.
Brentford pressed forward in the closing stages, but Morris held firm to secure victory for Orient.
