La Liga - Milan: Shevchenko not going to Real

Eurosport - Mon, 17 Nov 18:59:00 2008

Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko will not join Real Madrid, the Italian club's chief executive Adriano Galliani has said.

Spanish media have linked Real with a move for the little-used Ukrainian after Ruud van Nistelrooy was ruled out for the season.

Internazionale's Hernan Crespo has also been mentioned as a possible replacement in newspapers.

"Sheva is not going anywhere, he will start playing again soon," Galliani said.

Shevchenko has struggled to make an impact since returning to the San Siro. He has yet to score in Serie A this season as has struggled to hold down a regular first team place.
