Blackburn manager Mark Hughes will be without defender Brett Emerton for the Carling Cup quarter-final at home to Arsenal on Tuesday night.The Australia international is suspended after being sent off in Saturday's 5-3 defeat at Premier League neighbours Wigan.

Dutch defender Andre Ooijer will again be absent and is set to miss the Christmas and New Year schedule after sustaining a hamstring injury against West Ham on December 9.
