Championship - Holloway can't wait for window

Eurosport - Mon, 17 Dec 15:16:00 2007

FOOTBALL Leicester City Ian Holloway - 0

Holloway has only won a single game since taking charge of Leicester in November, and is desperate to bring in new faces as soon as he can.

Following the 2-0 defeat to Hull at the weekend, which Holloway branded as "totally unacceptable", struggling Leicester are now just one place above the relegation zone.

He said: "The challenge is bringing in the right people and putting them in place like a great big jigsaw puzzle.

"I knew what I was taking on but didn't expect these people to be as low as they are.

"It's the most exciting job I've ever had and the biggest challenge of my life and I can't wait for the window to open so I can do things.

"It's amazing what one real good player coming in can do and it's also amazing what a load of half-decent players can do as well.

"At the minute I've got handcuffs on but the planning and work that has gone on is intense. We're working on things.

"I'm looking for people who when they get knocked down, they get back up again."
