Celtic have made a bid for Sevilla defender Andreas Hinkel, according to the player's agent

Klaus Schaude has revealed that the SPL champions have made a concrete offer for the £2million-rated full-back.

The 25-year-old Germany international will make a decision in the next days after failing to see his future at the Spanish club resolved.

Schaude said: "Sevilla informed us Celtic have made an offer and we know they are a big club.

"We are hoping to Andreas will be allowed to leave in the next transfer window.

"We have had talks with a number of clubs, not just Celtic, and in the next few days can close the deal."
