Ferrari get new Indian sponsors

Ferrari have bucked the global economic crisis squeezing Formula One by agreeing a sponsorship deal with Indian carmaker Tata.
"For the first time an Indian brand will appear on the Ferrari," president Luca di Montezemolo said.
"It's historic."
A Ferrari spokesman confirmed a deal had been reached and said the details and duration would be announced shortly.
Tata and Ferrari's parent company Fiat have a joint venture in the Indian state of Maharashtra to produce cars.
Formula One approved a package of cost-cutting measures last week to help the sport after the economic crisis led to Honda's withdrawal.

Everyone had the right to be driving on the racing line at that point of the race,,
they were racing for a finish, You are trying to make it sound as though glok was going to be lapped by hamilton and therefore should of moved over,,
He was in front at that time and had every right to stay on the dryer racing line to maximise hes finish. considering there was only a few bends left.

Silly little strange man. No, he didn't have engine trouble, that is called an "example." But he was on slicks and driving very slowly so had no business being on the racing line for the reasons stated. Speculate all you want Lewis has won, get over it.

Why didn't Glok take the racing line around the last few bends? Well Mr Clever @#$%; If a car is lapping that slowly, due to engine trouble, insufficient grip etc, are they really going to take the racing line risking other drivers at full race speed to plough into the back of them causing millions of poundsworth of damage with a potential side serving of injury or death. It wouldn't be very clever would it?potential black flag because of the risk perhaps?......hmmm..whatcha say there big boy?
Both drivers did fantistically well over the season, Lewis just edged it and and got a deserved victory. Speculate all you want, cos everbody loves to speculate don't they?
well said Bernard, there are some people on here all day, day after day trying there hardest to convince people otherwise but you are right it's as plain as day, Glock slowed down and went off the dry line to let LH past, end of!! get over it people, you are in your own little F1 dream world or may be watching a completely different race to the majority of us.

We all know that the stewards were all over every race during the season and were very quick to criticize and punish any wrong doing, right?
Hamilton was punished (many would say unfairly) and so was Ferrari. All correct so far?
So, if there was a conspiracy for Hamilton to win (and we all know Bernie and Max didn't want him to be WDC) why hasn't there been (a.) huge uproar in the press, and (b.) a thorough inquiry by the stewards?
Mmm, maybe, just maybe there isn't any real conspiracy?
And maybe it's all a fantasy in yours and Touron's minds.

very interesting Narain Karthikeyan is very closely tied in Tata..either his daddy or someone either owns a bunch of dealers or something...not like he is a good driver but i know he is very closely tied into Tata
The last laps are STILL on youtube and Glock IS on the dry line in the last corners. Just a sore loser that tries to stir things up about last season and not what is happening on the season to come.

Bernard, nobody is running away from your question. everyone is ignoring it because A) its not about the TATA/ British taxpayers subsidy of Ferrari which is what this story concerns and B) it's totally fatuous. Like it or not Lewis Hamilton won the Drivers Championship. Your stupid comments cannot & will not change that fact.

Why did glok slow down so much in the last lap..
Why was glok driving on the wet side of the track in the last few remaining bends allowing hamilton to take the inside DRY line to victory.

Tata will be giving money to Ferrari. Tata own Jaguar and Land Rover. All car manufacturers are in the poo. Jaguar / Land Rover expect British taxpayers money? (Like your thieving banks do)
