Bygrave set to wave bye-bye

Fri 18 Jan, 05:45 PM

Defender Adam Bygrave will play the final game of his current loan spell at Gillingham when Northampton travel to Priestfield. The 18-year-old has made seven appearances since joining from Reading in November and it remains to be seen whether boss Mark Stimson has plans to extend the youngster's stay at the Gills beyond this weekend.

Midfielder Adam Miller had his red card in last Saturday's 3-1 win at Huddersfield overturned and should face the Cobblers with Stimson not expected to change his starting XI.

Midfielder Stuart Thurgood and forward Dennis Oli - who along with Miller and John Nutter completed permanent moves to Priestfield this week - should also be in the squad after both missed out at the Galpharm Stadium with illness.

Defender Ian Cox could return to the squad after missing the last nine games with a thigh problem but Efe Sodje (fractured eye socket) is likely to remain sidelined.

On-loan Port Vale midfielder Craig Rocastle made an impressive debut at the Galpharm Stadium and likely to continue in the side.
